Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Low Sexual Desire in Women

An 8-session in-person group designed for women whose sexual desire or motivation feels lower than they would like

Our group is grounded in a well established, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy intervention. Our group of 6 to 8 women will meet in-person weekly for 8 weeks and learn how to connect and engage with their sexuality by:

  • learning about women’s sexuality and sexual response

  • developing and practicing mindfulness skills

  • learning about the ways in which sexual interest and motivation are influenced by thoughts, feelings, and behaviours

  • understanding how intimate relationships impact sexual concerns

  • connecting with other women and benefiting from their insights and support

Women are welcome to join the group if they are facing difficulties related to sexual interest, or sexual arousal.

The group facilitators are Dr. Stephanie Montgomery-Graham, C. Psych, and Katarina McKenzie, M.Sc (PhD candidate).

The next group starts on September 22, 2025.
